Absolutely! Our foam is 100% heat and weight sensitive. The only way quality Visco-Elastic Memory Foam can work is through your body's heat and weight. Our Eco-Friendly Memory Foam customizes itself to your body's shape and relieves your pressure points using your body heat and weight.
Like Tempur-Pedic, we use a high density, 5.3lb Visco-Elastic Memory Foam. Most other companies cut corners and use lower quality, lower density Memory Foam like 3lb or 4lb density.
Density is the key to a finer quality mattress and a healthy night's rest. Lower density Visco-Elastic Memory Foam such as 3lb or 4lb density cannot provide the life improving health benefits that only true 5.3lb density Memory Foam can provide. Lower quality 3lb or 4lb Visco-Elastic Memory Foam are not as heat or weight sensitive to your body and resurface too quickly. Resurfacing too quickly actually causes pressure against your body which creates painful pressure points that cause you to toss and turn at night. Lower density foam also fails quickly, usually within only 3 years. Below we outlined the main points on why you do not want lower density, lower quality Memory Foam:
1. Remember when you bought your TV, radio or anything that had the white foam around it in the box. Remember how light that foam weighed (low density) and how easy it broke apart? The manufacturer used this foam because it was cheap to make and they only need it to last a little while. This is the same with ALL FOAM including Memory Foam. Lower density Memory Foam is cheap to make, and breaks down quickly. There's not much to it.
2. Lower density foam (3lb and 4lb) are not heat sensitive. The only reason to buy Memory Foam is for it's heat and weight sensitive ability. Quality 5.3lb density Memory Foam can sense your body weight and temperature and customize itself to you alleviating pressure points that cause pain and poor sleep. Lower density Memory Foam like 3lb or 4lb are similar to foams used in your couch cushions and cannot sense your body temperature or weight like the higher density can. Quality heat sensitive Memory Foam is firm where you need it and soft where you want it. If your Memory Foam doesn't sense temperature and is just soft, where is the benefit?
3. Low density, low quality 3lb and 4lb Memory Foam doesn't last that long. They tend to break down quickly, as soon as 3 years. And, during the 3 years they hold up you won't get the true benefits of a high density, high quality 5.3lb density Memory Foam.
4. IMPORTANT: Most people have read or think that Tempur-Pedic beds get hot because of their foam. This is not true. Tempur-Pedic uses a waterproof barrier behind their bed cover that causes the mattress to not be very breathable and to cause the user to heat up. The fact is, high density Memory Foam allows just as much air to flow through it as does the lower density Memory Foam's. In fact, our 5.3lb density Memory Foam has larger cells which allow air to circulate through it up to 50% better than 3lb or 4lb Memory Foam.
5. Cell structure and durability: Lower quality, lower density Memory Foam has fewer cells and are weak and inconsistent. With less cell structure and weaker cell structure, the cells actually tend to shift and leave body impressions. Higher density 5.3lb Memory Foam has thousands of larger, consistent cells that last longer and resist against body impressions. High density Memory Foam will last you at least 20 years versus 3 - 5 with lower density, lower quality Memory Foam.

Every company including Tempur-Pedic use wood foundations. Why? The're cheaper to make. Wood foundations tend to make noises as the wood swells from temperature changes in your home and after a while the wood can warp causing a hammock affect which you will see and feel in your mattress. Our steel box springs will never make noise, or warp causing your bed to dip. Wood foundations have no "give" to them making the mattress do 100% of the work. Our steel box spring do have some "give" which takes the pressure off your mattress and allows the box spring to absorb some of your weight. What does this mean to you? It means your mattress and your box spring will last longer and provide the health benefits you bought it for longer.
Because the Memory Foam is only on one side, you never have to flip your mattress. We do recommend you rotate your bed every 3 months the first year and then once a year there after.
